CR Hes Good Money, also known as "CB" and "Handsome" is a very affectionate fellow, and his disposition is one of the kindest and sweetest horses at the farm... despite the fact that he is a stallion.
CB is primarily foundation bred, with some of the best thoroughbred influence mingled in with the legendary King, Wimpy and Leo lines. His sire goes back to Docs Hickory and Sticks An Stones... which has proven to be a successful running and barrel racing line to cross. His dam is linebred Silver King and Wimpy, and is 100% foundation.
CB stands 16h, which is a great size to produce all around horses that can go in literally any direction.
Easy on the eyes is one way to put it... but CB is mainly well conformed, and form tends to follow function. There's not much about him that I would change. He is one of the smoothest horses I've ridden, including gaited horses! He is extremely soft and fluid. Can stretch out and trot nicely, lifting his shoulders and pushing well from his hindquarters... but can easily turn on his haunches and roll back, change leads naturally and with little effort, and can lope AND jog with the best of them. We have western pleasure and hunter under saddle horses and appreciate the qualities that both have to offer, our goal is to produce foals that have the ability to go in whichever direction you choose.
No impressive lineage is also an added bonus for some owners, as he will cross very nicely with your impressive mares.
CB is homozygous Agouti(puts the black points, mane and tail on a horse) and homozygous black, meaning he can NEVER have a red foal! He will always pass a copy of his agouti and black genes to his foal, and can pass his cream gene as well... making foals buckskin, bay, perlino, dunskin(what he is) or bay dun!
Browse his video and picture pages to see his beauty in motion! Our first foal crop arrived in 2012, and consisted of a perlino, bay dun, bay, and buckskin, all colts!
We have son standing at the farm(Spin More Money) and available for viewing, we occasionally have clients horses available that are by CB or some at the farm born that year.
